Bali, the magical and the most famous island in Indonesia that attracts millions of people to come visit every year. The charm of this island is not only limited to its beaches, its lush green rice terraces, unique culture, mountains, Bali has everything to offer nature lovers. It is also a paradise for yogis around the world to come for retreats, teacher trainings or just a few days to relax their body and mind.
I haven’t showered for 3 days already before arriving. After Myanmar I was somehow hoping that Bali can offer us some more comfort and relaxation. It didn’t disappoint.
Bali is more than a place; it is inspiration. It is a tropical state of mind.
No wonder so many people keep coming back, and many more don’t want to leave, and finally call this island their home.
We were so happy to see our good friend, Wen, after a long while. He was kind enough to arrange a villa for us. It’s tucked away in the middle of the field. Instead of the sounds of traffic, we were embraced by the sounds of nature. Turn the lights off at night for a few minutes, the canopy of stars and the moon will do the work, adding more romance to the atmosphere.

Thanks to Wen who connected us to some friends of his here, the people are the main reason that I will surely return soon.
